When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

If you use the form on the Contact page to get in touch with Kestral Gaian, the form will send the data you input into it (Name, Email Address, Pronouns, and Message) via email to the site owner. This information will then be stored in the site owner’s inbox as would a direct email from you. Please treat the contact form as you would the sending of an email from your own email account.

The contact form does not otherwise collect or store your any of your details, and no data that you submit via this form will at any point be used for mass marketing, put on any kind of database without your express consent, or sold or passed on to any third party.
